West Seattle Fat Ass & Half Ass 2014!

Start and finish will be at the south end of Lincoln Park in
West Seattle, at Picnic Shelter Number 3, which is the southernmost covered picnic
shelter down by the water.
The course will run along the sidewalks & streets of
West Seattle.
1 out 'n' back = 25K+,
2 out 'n' backs = 50K+
This is a no fee, no shirt, no aid, no whining type event,
so plan on carrying your favorite method of hydration and some energy grub as
well! -- (And, of course) This is not a race but rather just a fun run intended
to count towards Marathon Maniacs/Half Fanatics and other tallies.
That being said, our goal is to have an aid station at the
start and at the turnaround, stocked with your typical ultra fare. There
are some bathrooms along the course, and a few water fountains, but you should
carry what water and snacks you need.
One of our beloved volunteers and our (former) intrepid race
director/leader have decided to follow their dreams and move on to new careers
and aren’t going to be available for the event, so if you are looking for a
volunteer opportunity we could use a couple of people.
There is no fee for this fun run, but if you’d like to
donate we will have a can out. We had to reserve the picnic shelter this year
and we plan on continuing Nic’s donations in honor of his friend to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
